AI3DN™
AI3DN™ (AI 3D Networks) is a vision central to 6G: one AI-driven network spanning terrestrial, stratospheric, and space-based layers. Abside’s AI3DR™ Radio Access Network (RAN) product lines for terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks provide the high-spatial-resolution foundation.
Building on its experience in stratospheric communications, Abside is developing the technologies that bring these layers together:
- High-spatial-resolution RAN: Very Large Array (VLA) Radio Units for terrestrial networks (TN) and Stratospheric Mega Arrays™ for non-terrestrial networks (NTN), including High Altitude Platform Stations (HAPS) and High Altitude Long Endurance (HALE) platforms
- AI-based network control: intelligence applied across the RAN to manage coverage, capacity, and interference
- Unified orchestration: an AI-driven orchestrator, in development, that integrates and controls terrestrial, stratospheric, and space-based network layers
- Wide-area connectivity from the stratosphere: high-capacity coverage for airspace, maritime regions, and hard-to-serve rural and mountainous areas
